The NEA (National Educators Association) uses teachers paid dues to contribute to a national candidate campaign of their (union) choosing - the teacher is given no choice in this matter - Should a teacher have a say in where their money goes ?

I think so, because they work very hard to raise it just like every other american in this world!

They do have a choice by electing union officials who will spend their money in the manner condoned by the majority of union members. It just happens to be that, I believe, the majority of teachers are democrats. ;(
