Should my dog get fixed?

Me...again Asked by asianchick104 10 months ago, 15 answers.

I have a pure bred female miniature pinscher and I think we should breed her. My dad wants to get her fixed. And my mom isnt really sure. The vet said it is better to get fixed but I think that is kind of mean. What would be best getting her fixed or...

breeding her.

Well it all depends...
Will you be able to find GOOD homes for the pups?
Is she healthy or strong enough to breed?

In the end it's all up to you and your parents, but I say that if you think you could take care of the pups and her while she is pregnant and afterwards, and you have a safe enviroment for her and the puppies.

Good Luck!

Yes, get her fixed.
Domestic animals live longer.
And The HUman Society would even tell you to get her fixed.

Yeah, getting her fixed is a much healthier choice. I would assume that there would be less stress on the dog too.

you need to get her fixed the sooner the better!!
please dont breed her you will be bringing in pups that you may not end up finding good homes for and if you do they will later get tired of the pup and throw her or him out in the street or may end up being abused and they may end up in the shelter and dont find a good home and people who will love and care for them they will be put down due to the lack of homes that will care for them.
so just keep that in mind please get her fixed and dont bring helpless little pups into this world that will probably end up abused and or homeless

Get her fixed...leave breeding to those who's only ambition is to improve that particular breed. They kill 10 MILLION dogs and cats every year in the US, why be part of the problem instead of being a part of the solution.

It's not MEAN to spay them, it's GOOD to spay them. Her chances of breast and uterine cancer rise tremendously by not getting her fixed (spayed dogs don't even get
breast or uterine cancer)...

I would get him fixed.. there are plenty of other breeders out there that know what they are doing! Plus it will help him not have problems with his prostate and to keep healthy! just leave it up to licensed breeders to breed dogs =)

I have two miniature pinscher and I got them both fixed. breeding takes a lot of work meaning that you would have to find a good home or you will get too attached to them and you couldnt give them away.
