Should mccain ask hudome to resign?

A stunning new report connects the dots between McCain and the terrorist Libyan regime of Muammar Gaddafi. According to the report, McCain's newest media adviser is Mike Hudome, who recently took over for Mark McKinnon when McKinnon decided he didn't want to run against Obama. Hudome is married to Randa Fahmy Hudome, a lobbyist who 'began working for the Gaddafi government at a time when it was officially designated by the U.S. State Department as a state sponsor of terrorism.'

During Bush's first term, Fahmy Hudome served as international policy adviser to then-Energy Secretary Spencer Abraham. In May of 2004, she became a member of the department's external advisory board and got a $1.47 million consulting agreement with the Libyan government to 'strengthen Libyan interests.' This conflict of interest only gets uglier, as Fahmy Hudome became instrumental in drumming up Arab-American support for Bush's reelection bid.

Conveniently, Bush suspended most sanctions against Libya in April 2004, just before Fahmy Hudome's appointment to the Energy Department's advisory board. And the administration was then compelled to remove Fahmy Hudome in July of the following year, when families of Lockerbie bombing victims and government watchdog groups both cried foul. The 1988 Libyan bombing of Pan Am flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland, killed 270 people and was the largest terrorist attack on Americans prior to 9/11.

So we have the wife of McCain's media advisor working to strengthen Libyan interests during a time when Libya was declared by the U.S. to be a state sponsor of terrorism, accepting $1.47 million from Libya and then working to drum up Arab-American support for Bush's reelection bid.

Don't you think that McCain should ask Hudome to resign?

Now it is the party of divide. the party of lies. Not even the left leaning Oregonian printed that 7 ways to seperation connect the dots story you described. Believe me the acutely left leaning newspaper called the 'oregonian' has done nothing but try to tear McCain down in recent months.

Now why would it choose not to write your fantasy piece? More importantly, why would the media try to tear down McCain? where is the love the media showed him in previous campaigns? oooh I know Obama is our golden boy, mean while we throw a decorated war hero who served time in a pow camp under the bus? His wife is an individual with her own responsibilities.

We can't hold a husband responsible for his wife's actions any more than we can hold a child responsible for its parents actions.

The sins of a spouse are NOT visited upon the other spouse just as the sins of the father are not visited upon the child.

The four main categories of sanctions resulting from designation as a state sponsor of terrorism include restrictions on U.S. foreign assistance; a ban on defense exports and sales; certain controls over exports of dual use items; and financial and other restrictions.

I don't care who 'he' is associated with. We should not be penalizing anyone because of what their Father, Mother, Son, Daughter, Wife, Husband or any other relation did.

By your logic we would be justified in penalizing all of John Wilkes Booth's relatives because HE assassinated a president.
