me or not and I don't even know if I want to have sex with him, so I just wanted to know if I should tell him about it or if I shouldn't tell him about it and if I do tell him what his reaction might be, help is much appreciated, thanks

Yes you should tell him that you're on birth control, but also that you don't know if youre ready to have sex or not. just because your on it doesnt mean you have to and its not like its completely active for the first month anyway so you cant do anything right away as it is. which will help give you time to decide whether you are ready or not. but either way dont be pressured into telling or not telling him, doing something with him or not doing something with him. a guy should respect you and your boundaries or hes not worth your time. so I would tell him and clarify that you still dont know if your ready or not to do something even though your on it, that it was your mom that pressured you into getting on it. and as for what his reaction would be, it differs with each guy. so that I couldnt really tell you.
but good luck with everything and if you need someone to talk to, funmail me.

You dont know if your boyfriend will want to have sex with you anymore, now that your on birth control? Are you serious? You might think about getting a new boyfriend!

...it can't kill you...-.-...it can give you bad reactions(which dont occur too often) but it is good if you tell him.

Yes I think you should be completely honest with him. If he's not the type to push you into things he will not have a problem with it.

unless you want to have sex with him, it's none of his business.  don't tell him.

If you are on birth control pill, then you can tell it to your b/f, and you two should practice sex quite frequently. If not, there is no sense to take the pills.

It can't hurt telling him, but make sure to stress that if you aren't ready to have sex yet, then he shouldn't pressure you into doing it. It's more of a precaution anyways. Not to mention that it takes a month before it's effective, I've done my research on this topic. But, it depends on the relationship you guys have, whether it's open with communication or not.

u should be honest with whats going on and how you feel. ull do "it" when you are ready.if he respects that now then nothing should change.just be careful you give him an inch hell want a mile.

it really can't hurt to tell, especially if you guys are honest with each other and usually share everything with each other. but make sure to tell him that just because you are on the pill, it doesn't mean you want to go and have sex with him.
