Should I start dating?

Okay seeing as I cant make up my mind I want you to assist me in what you think I should do...im 16 yes I know (old) but I've never dated because I wanted to concerntrate on my school work, I dont believe in love (well hardly) and im not into the whole relationship or dating scene...

I've seen way to many people get there hearts broken that I've vowed to stay off dating? I kind of and kind of dont want to start dating...reasons why is maybe there is someone out there in the world that can make me happy?

Reasons why not -scared and cant be f*cked wasting my time if it ends badly...

So I need your advice...any help welcome!

If you do not feel the urge to touch a boy, or be with him intimate, then it is better if you keep focusing on your school work and carrier. Dating is a big fun, but only for those people who have heart. Yes, if you have heart, you have to learn even its braking but also its jumping, laughing, flying, etc. Without heart you will find dating dull, and you will do it only for getting higher social rank, or else.

if you feel ready to be around a guy and do couple things like go to the movies together ect. then go for it.
but you might not, so you could always wait a little longer.

There is no specific age for dating and in a lot of cultures people are not even allowed to date. I think it is good that you want to focus on school. If you do not beleive in love then you shouldn't date because it would just be a waste of time.

if you fell it is the right time to start do it. buy you probly will end up wasting your time on some of your early relationships ...
