Should I make a myspace account without my mom knowing?

Ok all my friends have myspace and I want one really bad but im afraid my mom will say no! And I might start one anyways but I dont think its the right thing to do?? what should I do, cause my mom thinks im too young, I don't know what to do, my bff...

suggested that I show my mom my friends and se how safe it is?? I dont know???

I think you should just make one and put it on private where only your friends can see it and people that you add no one else so if you do tell your mom tell her your going to put your myspace on private.

it's not like you need your parents permission, as long as you're at least 13, which is how old you need to be to actually create an account on myspace. just don't be stupid about your myspace, be VERY careful of what information you post, don't add anybody you don't know, don't post suggestive photos, if someone messages you and you don't know them, simply do not reply, and keep your profile on private. if you don't believe it is the right thing to do to make one behind your moms back, get your mother and sit her down and create one as safe as it can be using the precautions I stated above, and prove to her how safe it can be.

No it is not the right thing to do why don't you talk it out withyour Mother and see what happens if it is set to private then I do not see why she wouldnt let you have one ,,,but it is not right to go behind her back.

well I have a myspace page and my mom doesn't know but lets be real. you are old enough to make your own decisions your mom doesn't have to know everything and all my friends have myspace pages and that's exactly why I made one and once you get a myspace page it is really fun. so I guess you are in a situation that I was in but like I said you have to make your own decisions.

Dont deceive your parents. Once you break that trust, then it will be hard for them to ever beleive you. If they find out that you have created a myspace account behind their back, then they will start to wonder what else your hiding. Then they will start to question every little thing you do, and you will hate it. Litsen to what they have to say. Myspace isnt all that...its actually stupid. you're not missing anything.

you get your layouts when you sign up for cool chaser, maybe you could explain to her that your old enough and mature to have one and if she still doesn't know then tell her that you'll keep it on private and only add your friends and nobody you don't know could look at it unless youv'e added them as a friend
