Should I go for baby no 5?

Asked by fau 3 months ago, 9 answers.

Hi there, what advice can you give me, Should Hubby & I go for Baby no 5 or stop at 4..
we now have 4 Boys & Hubby, myself & our Sons all want a little Girl..

even though I am asking this & deciding, I'm just wondering if other Christians believe that...

we have a choice or even though Hubby & I decide not to go for another, are we taking the Authority away from God & not trusting him, or do we get excatly what He wants anyway whether we try or not try for a Girl!!

any advice will be great, thank you x

God wants and even commanded Adam and Eve to live bountiful and replenish the Earth with our own seed. But think of it this way: you have already produced 4 children (I am the third oldest of a family of four) and that is two more than you and your husband so an increase of 200% (or doubling). God must be please that you have produced many children as commanded and really what matters is this: Are you able to physically and finacially support five children? And do you and your husband really want another child or just a girl? (If you just want a girl adoption might be a good option). Also think about your age in comparasion to the newborn's. Are you going to be physically healthy and capable to raise another child for the next 18 years? These are some major questions that I would ask myself and talk with your husband before you decide to have another. I hope this helps! =D

Thx everyone & ty gsxr jace... Hubby & I have talked about it for 3 years & we talked about adoption & can not afford it & the wait list even if we could afford it in Australia is over 5 years :-(

I can cope for the next 18 years plus, even if we were to have another boy I am prepared for that also, I still can keep going if I really wanted too, but the thing that scares me is another c-section, I have had 3 already & it terrifies me, but God provides & always has so I shouldnt fear because Fear does not come from God,,

my question is, even though we decide to stop trying, in the end isant it up to God??

in the end its all up to god
he'll take care of it
if he wants you to have a boy, then you will
if he wants you to have a girl, then you will
[:
I think you should go for it
I think you'll get a girl
what are the odds to have 5/5 kids boys?
[:
good luck and please give me updates on your decision if you can :D

I am one of 5. I love it. There is my sister and I(we are twins) and my 3 younger brothers. You might want to wait until the youngest is around 5 before having another one though.
