I've been meaning for a little while to go to the sexual health clinic and get my self checked out! My Ex boyfriend cheated on me then passed Chlaymdia on to me... I got my self checked out and treated. after this I seperated from my Ex for a while......

then a couple of months down the line I ended up sleeping with him again (falling into old habbits ect) I havent had myself checked out since I got with my new boyfriend (5 months this month) and I am now beginning to worry because I keep gettin cystitus and I feel that is a sign of what happened before! im scared to get myself checked out again because im worried it will be positive and then me and my current boyfriend would have to get treated. But im worried that my boyfriend will hate me or blame me...and im scared to bring the subject up! what should I do

If your ex didn't get treated then he'd still have it. If he got treated but slept with someone else who had it he may have it again. Get checked out, its the only way to know if you have it or not. If you do then you need to tell your present partner. Untreated Chlaymidia, especially in girls, can lead to infertility. I think that 6 out of 10 males don't test prositive even if they have Chlaymidia, so some men think they haven't got it when they actually do. Its us women that get the symptoms. Cystitis is a sign of a urinary tract infection and that is where Chlaymidia lives, not in the vagina as many think. When they test for Chlaymidia they test the urninary tract in both men and woman. Get checked out ASAP please.
