Should I get layers?

My hair is straight & thick & sholder length I was wondering if I got layers if that would help make it more managable or would make it feel thiner or eould getting my hair layerd just make it more thick or feel that way ? should I get lots of layers or...

just a few?

I think it would make your hair a little more manageable. Usually thick healthy hair is nice (my opinion). If it's unmanageable you might think about using some smoothing products. The Fredrick Fekkai line (glossing cream especially) works well for me. Try asking your local hair dresser what he/she thinks.

I have layers and I have thick curly hair ures is straight so it b good 4 you keep ure hair the length it is and make lots of layers you cant cut it short because trust me all that volume has 2 go in 1 place so yaaaaa

I have layers and my hair is thick and its about shoulder length. It depends on what layers you want short or long. I have long layers. Its not too thin at all. It feels great. I also have a lot of layers. it looks really cute. When it grows out let the hair style person do I all over again.
