Should I be a single mom?

thats my pet Asked by imconfusedhere 6 months ago, 3 answers.

Okay here's a huge question... I'm 27 years old and have been living on my own since I was 19. I work for the military and the state so I'm very financially stable. The thing is I don't have a boyfriend or husband!! I think I'm done with partying and...

traveling for now... I've had lots of fun in my life so far, so I'm pretty satisfied with what I have accomplished. I know having a baby is going to be very tough and its going to take up a lot of my time and money and everything else in my life. Well I just need some advice from parents out there who can let me know if having a child by myself is a good idea or should I wait to find my soul mate??? Thanks in advance!!

its kind of up to you
if you really want a child, and it will make you happy, then you could have one now
or wait a bit longer untill you find a nice guy
its hard to find a soul mate out there, but be patient!
go out and meet some guys in different places, get to know what your looking for in a partner and that too

I dont think you should be a single mom. I'm not a parent but I do have some common sense.

This child is going to need a father figure as well, thats just my oppinion if you dont think so then thats your deal. But I think the child needs a mother and a father. And you need a husband your 27 years old for cryin out loud. If I get to your age which will be like 7 years from now and I'm still on my own I'll probally jump out a 10 story building just to make one less useless human around. I'm sure you got dozens of studly men lined up at your dispossal if your finacially equipped like you said you must be one dazzling looking babe. So you should take a pick get a husband and a kid be happy! for christ sakes.

I think you should wait until you find "Mr. Right" before you have a natural child. However, I don't see anything wrong if you wanted to adopt a child that might otherwise be lacking a loving relationship.
