How can I keep us from breaking up?

I have a girlfriend whos a gypsy, so its against her custom to date so we've been dating secretly.
But now her family's gettin suspicious and I think they know.
How can I keep us from breaking up?

Just tell her parents that you really like her and that you never want to lose her. but if the religion means more than being with you to the girl then its not worth being with her. and it shouldnt be more important
