She betrayed my trust

My friend told my crush that I liked him, and found out he has a girlfriend.
Now I'm confused about what to do. Help?

I suggest if you decide to stay friends with her, to treat her as just a casual friend, not a friend you confide in.

Well she probably didn't mean any harm in it but you should definitely tell her that she really hurt your feelings and that you feel betrayed. She was probably trying to help but she needs to learn that you need her to keep secrets not try to get you a date. Just talk to her about it and agree not to tell people things unless both of you have agreed to it before hand.

No, She was pondering beforehand whether or not to tell him. She did, and in the message she sent him, she said at the top 'this will probably effectively ruin your friendship'.

She can't keep a secret. Especially stuff like this. at the moment, I'm not talking to her, and hanging out with other friends.

She blabbed to my last crush, too. Indirectly, though. She and another friend passed a note around the bus we were on saying 'SM Hearts JP' (our initials).
He was a few seats away and was sure to see it.

That 'SM hearts JP' thing wasn't brittany. It was me and lauren. And you're over reacting. This situation is so easily fixed, as I've said at school. Also, put in perspective, your life is fairly awesome. You should also stop taking things like this so seriously. I also thought you would've learned by now, you can't trust anyone completley, least of all brittany. Cool picture, though.
