Shaving

Ok, so just last night I considered shaving my private area.
But I got scared so I just trimmed it really really really short.
I've never trimmed it down to this short. It's realy uncomfortable now. It's all pokey and it itches.
What should I do and...

is this even normal?!?!

And what is the purpose of public hair? Like what does it do?

Why do ya'll keep saying "PUBLIC" hair...now THATS funny.

it protects you from getting stuff inside of you.

okay what the hell.
heres what you need to know when you cut your pubes it intches cause the pubes ar there to help fight off itcheyness and you killed your protection you have to get it waxed if anything

I tried that once and it felt all weird but it'll grow back fast
[ewwewww] anyways public hairs [like eyelasshes for instance] help protects rain and water get to your eyes=)

You cant do much until it grows out (btw same thing will happen if you shave or wax, there is always the annoying regrowth period) and yes that is normal.

If public hair is to protect you from getting stuff in there then why the hell do people shave down there?

em you just have to wait til it grows back and it does happen if you shave or wax..
I for one find it uncomfortable having hair there lol..
and having hair there MAKES NO DIFFERENCE(with me) for the itch thing...just so that parts clear!

I have public hair too...it's on my head where every one can see it.
My pubic hair is never made public
