I have a partner who I was with for a month, then he dumped me because he said he didnt "like" me anymore and liked my best friend. I still loved him so I asked him out and he said yes what shall I do?

You need to clarify WHAT type of date this is! Yeah you asked him out, but you forgot to figure out the circumstances; Is this a friendly date?, "Let;'s get back together date"?, or is this a "I want to get closer to your bestfriend and the only way to do so is to be closer to you "date?
