make time for your child my daughter is now a year and as she gets older our relationship gets better and better I am a single mother, so somtimes it is really hard to spend all of my free time with her since I have things I want to do to. the lesson I have learned is to take 30-45 min for myself everyday to do the things I want to do, this way the time we spend together I am not all stressed out. get a schedule down to, babys learn from repetative activitys. meal time should be at a certain time along with playtime relax time and bedtime, as you grow as a mother these things come to you naturaly. I use to fear that my child would hate me because it took her forever to say mommy and answer yes to the "do you love mommy" question. sounds stupid I know but as I chilled out and let her learn and explore our love grew stronger...she is truly my best friend and I would do anything for her. she still gets upset with me when she needs to eat dinner before dessert or go to bed instead of playing but overall things have inproved. hope that is some help and encouragement.
