Hmm your question is an interesting one, I suppose technically if somone sprayed a female rabbit with hormones released when a female cat is in heat they may be able to technically mate with a male cat... however they couldnt produce offspring... the species are too far apart... one is a feline the other is a rodent (I think), zebras and horses are a lot closer, although their offspring is probably infertile...
Maybe you have seen a "Cabbit"? But these aren't really Cat Rabbit offspring these are actually Kittens who have deformed back legs that appear to be rabbit's jumping leggs, so people call them cabbits. I am pretty sure as the grow older the back legs start to appeat more normal. I am not making this up you can look it up. So no they can't mate.
