Yes and no. The life-span theory would be quite efficient if you were trying to make space and clear the boards simple. However, I've seen boards that are about 2 years old and never went a day without a new post. The easiest solution would be to find some way to detect when a question has been idle for six months, and go through an automatic deletation process.

ok, so some of the questions here trip me up.
after I put in my two sence, and hit the post button,
I then realize, that the question I just anwsered is like ...3 years old ...aughghhh
I have done this more then once,,,
I can't be the only one thats...
done this ??
shouldn't questions have a life span and roll off the board after a few weeks or so?
