Ok. That is great that at your age you are thinking about your future. That is awesome. As for 'What a degree is", it is either an Associate's (2 years of college), a Bachelor's (4 years of college), a Master's (6 years of college), or a P.H.D. (8 years of college). Things you need to look at when you finally do get to a college level of education are what your Major is going to be. A Major is the main area of study you will be learning. So in a technological line of study there are many, many different areas in which to learn about. There is Programming (making code), Computer Information Systems (running a network), and so on. I'm not saying to not think about this right now, but maybe you should think about it not so much. It's okay to worry about your future. It's great that you are. But, keep this in mind for your plans to goto college. When you are getting enrolled you will have something called an Enrollment Advisor, or Academic Counselor, or someone else involved with your choice of higher learning to help you pick the right path to go down when it comes to something like picking what you will specialize in. You will be okay. You seem like you have a good head on your shoulders. Just try being a kid. You only really get your youth once in your life. And, when it's gone? You can never get it back. Enjoy your life. Enjoy your youth.
