Q about the act test

Asked by hohinhin 3 months ago, 1 answer.

Do most schools accept the ACT test in the US?
Because I am planning to take the ACT and some people told me that some colleges do not accept the ACT scores.
Do colleges usually look at the people with SAT scores first then move on to the ones with ACT...

scores? So is it better for me to take the SAT then the ACT?

Hi,

Many schools will accept EITHER the SAT or ACT, whichever you submit. I would suggest you take both exams, and for the colleges that accept either, just submit the higher score. If there is a college that only accepts 1 of the 2, you'll have it done, no matter what. (This is what I did, and I aced the ACT, submitted it to UM instead of my SAT, and got a scholarship).

Good luck!
