I don't really understand why we went there in the first place. I was too young to truly understand the meaning of war, so I felt a little happy that we were going to war because 9-11 had just happened and I thought we were going in there to go catch the bad guys like some Disney movie. I was VERY wrong. We weren't even in the same country that had attacked us and the 'weapons of mass destruction' that Bush had gone in there to find didn't even exist. Why we have spent 5 years in a country that will take generations to change, not a few years because of some Americans coming in and shooting the place up, is beyond me. I support our troops 100% and Bush didn't have everything to do with this, it was voted upon by our representatives... but still the Bush administration's time in office is over.

It has gotten to the point of no return. If we pull out now we will lose everything we have accomplished so far. I think the biggest problem is the media. We are not hearing the whole story. When something bad happens your damn sure to hear about it, but when something good happens they sweep it under the rug. I agree we will be bette off without Bush however I can't believe we will get anywhere with a democrat in office. Especially either of the two idiots they have nominated.
