What color prom dress should I wear?

Well my boyfriend and I are going to be going to prom in May. I was thinking about a pink or blue dress. What color do you guys think? I don't want to make him look bad by making him wear pink.

It depends what shade of pink, what colour your hair looks, your complexion, and the style of dress. I once saw a girl I knew wearing this pastel pink prom dress, her hair was bleached blonde and she was freshly tanned... and she looked like a ghastly barbie doll!

I agree with Stella, talk to him about it. Better still, go with him to pick out a dress. He can help you to pick a colour he doesn't mind matching. Unless he'd colourblind!

He might like to wear pink...Guys sometimes like to show their femenine side or show that they aren't afraid to wear pink.
Do you guys have to be matching?
I would look for the dress that seems perfect..as in the design etc. You don't have to look by colour..

Pink and blue are so over-used when it comes to prom dresses.
You should try for a more different colour... like orange or something.
