How do I migrate my pokemon ruby to pokemon diamond?

Every time I follow the advice in the booklet about migrating my Pokemon from Ruby to Diamond the Migrate option does not appear on the main menu and my save game data is deleted on Pokemon Ruby... anyone have any ideas how to get around this problem?

I have the same problem. I think our Pokemon GBA games are pirated. this may be the case here. or, probably it has problems concerning the cartridge battery. I dont know, but to be sure follow deeply the instructions concerning Migrating Pokemon in DS.
