How do you know when you're pretty?

hey how do you know when your pretty becasue like my friends make fun of not so pretty girls and they think their pretty but I am not sure I am it feels like I ain't pretty I look at my self all the time in the mirror but anin't thinking im pretty...

so how do you know if I am pretty help help please please please please

It's not a stupid question but I suggets your friends shoudl rethink about calling girls pretty and not pretty cause it shows they think too highly of themsleves. Anyways everyone has a different perpective of being pretty and what the word actaully means. to me people are who are pretty are the ones who are nice people on the inside and not just on the outside. I think everybody is pretty in there own way and looks should not be defined as just being pretty. Anyways I'm sure your a very pretty girl you just need to start believeing it

Nobody really has the right to determine the beauty of another person. I think girls that don't wear make up are prettier, but some people think that girls without make up look slobbish or lazy. And these 'not so pretty girls' could be very beautiful indeed. Maybe you caught them on a bad day? Maybe they just don't care? I guarantee somebody thinks they are beautiful..and I'm sure there are people that think your friends are ugly. I haven't seen them, but what you've said alone gives me a bit of an idea what I would think. Don't be calling people ugly..k? Either way...I haven't seen you..I'm sure you're perfectly fine by many people's standards.

there are two kinds of beauty outside beauty and inside beauty. Now ouside beauty are girls that think they look pretty, cute ect... and really just make fun of other women becuase they are in sucure about themselves. Inside beauty is what really matters. It is how a person acts and treats other people. Now you never said if you participated with the other girls when they are talking about others. Do you do that? If not than I would reccomend telling them that what they are doing isn't very nice and people will not find them attractive becauces what they are doing is verbaly bulling other girls. And no guy wants to date a bully. You are also only 13 and that seems really petty to be making fun of other people. Every guy has a different preferace in girls so don not worry what your friends think. jsut be nice and act yourself and you can land a better boyfriend than the other girls

You have some good advices above already but I'd like to say, "God doesn't ever make a mistake". Some may think you're less attractive, some may think you're very attractive. Some may think the Victoria's Secret models are very attractive, some may think they're not very attractive. You see where I'm going???

the way I feel pretty is if someone likes me
even if I think the person is the ugliest person at the school, I still feel pretty just knowing that they like me

well you can't let other people judge you, you have to know that you are pretty & maybe those people are just jelious that they can't look like you they are just wasting their time making fun of other people when they could take a second of their time and look at themselves

the best way to know if you are pretty or not is if you FEEL pretty then you are gorgeous and radiant on the outside,..and trust me, once YOU believe that you are pretty others will start noticing it too.. : ]

you know when I meet a person that is pretty then I get to know them a little better and they turn out to be betches and decks, theyre just not pretty to me anymore. theyre ugly but the people that are nice and alright looking at least theyre truly gorgeous!
