I highly doubt it. My friend is 20 weeks and they still aren't positive on the gender yet.

yes you can. although doctors prefer to wait till your 22 weeks just to be sure. if its a boy its easier to see. they actually work on stripes. 3 stripes a girl, two a boy. but this day and age they can tell by your blood what itll be.

um no, you cannot tell the gender at 8 weeks. The baby has a set gender, but the external genitals have not formed yet, so you wont be able to tell. The earliest is about 15 weeks, but they usually can be much more certain aroud 18-20 weeks. Even then it is up to the baby to let everyone know. My daughter was stubborn, and would not let us see between her legs during my 18 week ultrasound, so we had to wait!
