What if I'm the only one who likes the jonas brothers?

I hang around a great group of friends, who mostly listens 2 hip hop & are&B. I love hip hop and evrything, but I love the jonas brothers music 2. but im the only 1. the main reason iz that they dont like rock. disney or not. but I love the jonas brothers. theyve been my obsession 4 months. what do I do???

im the only one in my group who likes them 2! its alright, just be happy tat your not like every1 else. WE KNOW they rock right?: so pssshhh 2 your friends. if they cant see (hear?) how good JB r, theyre just missing out. But dont try to convert them to JB. they get mad when you do that.

show them something funy about the jonas brothers then. show them the nick jonas show. or make a friend who likes them and you be a SCREAMY about them!

I have the same problem. but who cares? stick with what you love. and there amazing. I hear stuff said all the time about them...and I support the jonas brothers through it all. is you were a true fan,you could care less what other people think about who you listen to. and as for your friends, if they love you like you say...they will still love you way after JB.

I have the same problem, my sister likes likes them but she is younger then me and we go to different schools. when I'm at school my friends are talking about their new boyfriends or these new hot actors that I don't even know and when I try to tell something new about the JBs they just ignore me like I'm not even there. So I've given up even trying to talk to my friends about it, though the bad part is about that then I some how end up talking to myself about them. I was in the library today and I was singing Time for me to Fly to myself. I didn't even notice until one of my friends tapped me and said 'What in the world are you singing?' then I noticed and told her it was a Jonas Brothers song. All she said was 'Oh of course' and walked off, she didn't even ask who they were. You know it doesn't matter I have what I love and I'm sticking to it, and you should too. If you just need to talk about the Jonas Brothers and noone will liten to you, e-mail me I would be happy to listen!

I don't think that would be a problem right no I can garentee that you are not the only one who likes the jonas brothers right now about every teenage girl loves the jonas brothers and I think you should listen to what ever kind of music you want you shouldent worry about what your friends listen to they like there kind of music and you can listen to what you like it's ok to like different kinds of music. I just means you have different interests. why don't you let them listen to some of the jonas brothers music and see what they think.

I am the only one in my SCHOOL who likes the Jonas Brothers...Just show them funny vids, cute pictures, GREAT SONGS, and so on...Eventually they will learn to love them!:D:D

If not, you should still listen to their music (which I do) even if people make fun of you. Because:
1) they arent your true friends if they make fun of you because of the MUSIC you listen to.
2) it proves your a real fan.

I was in the pretty much the same situation with my friends. (I had 10 close friends) None of my friends really like them but I did. I tried to keep it to myself and go along with it when they would make fun of how 'stupid' they looked or sounded but then the truth got out and they were all shocked and laughed at me except for about 4 of my friends. They don't judge me for who I am and though I am still friends with the other people I realized if they laugh at me for just being me and staying true to myself they arent really people I should be friends with. My current friends are probably the best I've had and if I start babbling about the Jonas Brothers they will listen even though they dont like them as much as I do.

P.S. I know it may be hard to tell the truth about your love of the Jonas Brothers but in the end telling the truth pays of in many ways. And tthere is a chance that one of your friends might have a secret obsession aswell. When the truth got out, I found out one of my friends had a secret obsession with them as well so we talk about them a lot. Good Luck!!

Hun, you don't have to like everything your friends like. If your friends really like you they will except you for who you are. There is no reason to put up a front. Trust me, I'm 18 and pretty much all of my friends shake their heads at me when I say something about them. My cousin actually thinks I'm crazy because I paid 50 for 4th row center stage tickets to their When You Look me In The Eyes Tour, and 67 for the upcoming Burnin' Up Tour. You shouldn't have to worry about what your friends think. Like I said my friends don't understand, and every now and again they crack jokes about me being 18 and liking them, but they except that I like them. When they come to town I don't ask anyone to go to their shows with me. I take my 10 year old sister and my best friend (who is the only one who likes them that I hang out with) and I have fun. Tell your friends you like them. You'll be happy you did, and like the person above me said, chances are they like them too. :D
