Nervous about applying for a job

Asked by fau 7 months ago, 4 answers.

tomorrow im applying for a summer job. I'm 16, but I don't have very good confidence levels and so I'm kind of nervous about going around asking if they're hiring. Its a weird anxiety issue, so does anyone know how to be confident and relax?

Its not like you have anything to lose - might as well put yourself out there.

Keep in mind that they WANT you. They aren't doing you some kind of favor, they benefit from your labor.

It takes time to build self confidence but the more experience you'll have the more self-confident you'll have. Try not to be too nervous since like toadaly said you are the one offering services that they need and you know you can do a great job :-) You'll do great, you just have to get out there!
