I was just wondering, do you think it is normal to be nervous to fly alone? I am turning 17 next month, and on July 20th, I'm going to California by myself to visit family, and I have to admit, I'm kinda nervous about flying alone.. It's a nonstop...

filght, so that makes it easier, but I don't know.. for some reason, I'm nervous.

Very much so.
I've never been on a plane before.but Im going for my first time in the spring, all the way to Paris.I'm going with plenty of other people, but I;m still scared.I think its a natural thing, specially after all the terrorism.
Just relax, everything'll wokr out.An there will be plenty of nice people on the plane with you if you need anything, and at least ONE other person feling the way you do.

Not to worry

It's normal - jusy relax and remember the fact, 1,000's of flights go smoothly every day - you'll be fine...Have a great time !!

Yeah its normal since its your first time. But its so easy trust me. I flew by myself at 15 with 2 connecting stops. The airports have signs and employees to guide you through the airport so dont worry about a thing :D tell me how it goes!
