Need a girl

Asked by gillia about 1 year ago, 4 answers.

My husband and I are contemplating conceiving. We both agreed that we would like to possibly have a girl first. Are there any strategies that we can adopt to achieve control over the gender of our child?

actually there was a study that suggested that there were different periods in your menstrual cycle that could have a heavy hand in predicting child gender, but I don't remember exactly what it was.........but I believe it is the beginning of your menstrual cycle where you can concieve boys, and anything after that is girls, I believe........don't quote me on that, but I do remember that you can use your menstrual cycle as a roadmap.........ask your gyneacologist, I'm pretty sure he must have heard about this study........

good luck, and happy holidays

Dear gillia,
The sex of a child is determended by the males. It is in their dna make up and there is no way to change that.
Sue...good luck

making love on the day of ovulation or the day after is more likely to conceive a girl. making love a day or so before ovulation is more likely to conceive a boy. however, there's only a slight difference, hence the phrase more likely.
