my waves can hardly be seen somtimes...how do I get it 2 shine and stand out more

I saw your comment. I don't do anything to my hair. I'm mixed, so all I do is add add water and just brush and my hair just comes out like that lol. the pics of when I get it fresh cut are sick lol
