Why does my vagina smell fishy?

I had sex for the second time 2 weeks ago.&it was unprotected.
About a week after I could smell a fishy odor on me.&I knew other people could smell too.Im also having a lot of dishcharge.
im not pregnant b/c I had my period already.What do I do?

well your first mistake was having unprotected sex. it sounds like you have a yeast infection, so get something to treat it.

Have you been washing it? tinatodder4 is right. It does sound slike you have a yeast infection. Tell your parents and go get it checked out. You could also have an STD.

The same thing happend to me the best secetive way of doing this is by take a shower every morning and before you go to bed also go to a local store and get Vagasil its a cream that will tingle at first aply it soon as you get out of the shower you probley just have a bacterial infection if this doesnt work go to a doctor !

You know what , dont let people scare you into thinking you have an "STD" I had the same exact problem , all it was was a yeast infection , all you need to do is maybe go to a health centre and ask what the problem is. ( Most likly a yeast infection) and they will give you a pill you put in your vagina for so long, and eventually it will clear up hunn.

You could have BV which is a bacterial infection...could be caused by hormonal changes (ph Imbalance) or the guy you slept with was not clean, meaning he needed to wash. An STD does not show up that quickly so relax. If its an Yeast Infection that would be different...because it does not have an odor. BV does...so its most likely what you got. Do not Douche...only wash yourself with water and an unscented soap...and on the inside with your finger without...without...soap!!! If its really bad insert a tampon in yogurt then inside your vagina...this will help with your Ph balance...make sure you take it out after 8 hours (max time)...you don't want to get toxic shock syndrome. Its not a very big deal...however if it does not clear up you should go see a doctor. :-)
