My dog max just got some surgery and he was suppost to not move or walk for three days but almost as soon as we got home he started walking. Is that a good thing or bad???

As long as he didn't rip his stitches or anything, I think he'll be okay. You'll probably want to check with your vet to make sure, but I'm pretty sure that if he started to walk on his own without problems, he'll live. What surgery was it?

An embarrassing one. His "things" were inside him and they had to take them out and cut them off

I don't know if thats a good thing or a bad thing, but if the docters said that he shouldn't walk then you should prob. try to keep him from moving or walking. Good luck.

Try and keep him enclosed as much as possible, however animals are amazingly quick to bounce back to their feet... after I got a kitty spade, she was jumping onto the window sill hours later (she wasnt supposed to, but she got out of the garage)

I think the vet means to "limit his movement"...he'll have to walk to go pee, to poop...etc. The surgery for undesended testicles is more serious than just a neuter, so the vet doesn't want him running, jumping up or off furniture, playing with othre dogs, rough-housing for a few days...just walking isn't going to hurt him.
