My poems

I know I'm no where as good as other people but tell me what you think about them please. ^^ And I can't seem to write many poems without them rhyming... o.o Any negativity will provide me more to think of so don't hold back.

Peril

Hiding behind...

shielded eyes
Protected from the truth
Running from despair
Memories escaping
Echoes of human pity
Nightmares of crude behaviors
Denial causing outrageous lies
The light of darkness crashing down
Forever haunted by reality
Whimpers releasing last words
Patience tested
Death
Unwelcomed
Suffering is never measured
But elsewhere
It is.

Gone

The praising through so many years
The fighting through all of those tears
A solemn look from one to another
No pain imaginable for his mother
His death will never be in vain
For all the suffering and the pain
A new light will never dawn
For now he has come and gone

The time of happiness comes to an end
For now it’s time to change this trend
From none but an empty heart
This world is to fall apart
Reality is not a dream
You can’t just run away and scream
All split up into groups and cliques
There are no such reasonable picks

Just One

Feelings well up inside
As you take the first stride
The heart filled with life
Takes a dive into a world of strife
Let the moment be full of bliss
Close your eyes for just one kiss

These are amazing!
'Gone' and 'Just One' are the best out of the four in my opinion. They really captured my interest.
ll of them are fantastic though
