Muslim belief question

Ok, so a friend was telling me one day that muslims believe that anyone who is not muslim should be killed unless they convert. I have never heard this in my life!!! Could someone tell me if this is true?

Sigh, no muslims do not believe everyoe else on the planet should be killed. If you look at past history (and I dont know it all so someone may want to fill in the gaps), but jews and christians (people of the book or whatever you want to call it) were supposed to be treated well and respected...

no! I am a muslim and htere is nothing in our religion about that! we are happy with every religion and every god but we only believe that there is one god name allah. in islam there is nothing agianst being part of a different religion!

That comes from the radical muslims, the ones that want to rule the world. Not the moderate, peaceful ones. You can find out more about it, on you tube, by looking up videos by Brigitte Gaberial, she was born in Lebanon, is extremely educated, speaks 4 languages, is a journalist, and has set up a site called: American Congress for Truth.com. Its nice to hear it from someone who has been in the middle of both sides.

muslims respect every religion and infact if they kill anyone, be there faith christianity, or judaism, or sikhism or whichever religion - it is considered a sin.
infact I think some of the prophets in islam were jewish

ofcourse its untrue, God mentioned in Quran that who kills one person is the same as who kills all the man kind, its adeadly sin in Islam to kill anyone no matter what his religion is,also Islam prevented forcing anyone to do anything without being convinced especially when it comes to religion, and Prophet Muhammed ordered muslims to treat people following other religions with peace and love especially christians, Islam came with justice , so don't believe everything you hear, wish you all love and peace.

2:we beleive in ISLAM killing some one crime...and if it happen should kill in the same way the same person.

I don't blame your friend though, I blame the western media.
Islam converted to arabic means Peace.
Islam allows men to marry Christian and Jewish women, so why would a muslim want to kill his wife!!??
Tell you friend he was wrong or else he/she'll never know!

The western media always fill peoples brains with whatever they want them to believe!They always have an agenda behind everything they do! Islam means peace!It is the fastest growing religion in every continent in the world! Look into islam for yourself and you will see why! Take care now!
