You can wait. Just assure her that you are leaning toward that direction, but that you feel it is too soon, and you both are too young to deal with all that pressure... and it is pressure.
She is 17. My boyfriends sister is 17, and I was 17 3 1/3 years ago. A 17 year old girl IS NOT mature enough to get married. She'll realize that when she sees how stressful life on your own can really be.

Let her know that you definitely want to marry her but it is way too soon. My cousin wanted to get married when she was 18. She's now 22 and still with her boyfriend and realizes it would have been a huge mistake... Just wait a couple of years, let her atleast get to school or through something...
