How to tell my mom that I want to wear makeup?

How do I tell my mom that I want to wear make up? My best friend Lilly wears it and she just started to wear it with out asking and her parents are fine with it. How do I do this?

Get your friend to put a little bit of it on you, make sure it looks good though and go to your mom and be like "how do you like it?" and see how her reaction is then go from there.

why dont you just put it on...lol I started makeup when I was like 5 but my mom made me take it off sense I was to young. Anyhow just sit your mom down say my mom I want to wear makeup. I hope you will understand sense you were like me once...lol

You may want to start by just asking if you can have mascara, and then ask for something else every month, until you have all the makeup you need. Parents are more likely to accept change if it's slow.

wear it. the worst she can do is make you take it off. I wasnt allowed to wear make-up til I was 14/15 and I didnt find anything wrong with it. how old are you anyways? if your like 12-13 dont worry about it. its not a big deal... make-up just hides who you really are. thats all its for. hence the name... MAKE-UP...

Play around a little and see if you can apply it in a manner that doesn't LOOK like you're wearing make up. If you can achieve that go out and ask your mom what she thinks. Or just try a little bit of color on your eyes. All you can do is ask and see what she says. Just try to make sure you can show her that you can do it appropriately.
