is there a diference between "love you" and "I love you"? because this guy I like just recently started saying "love you" to me and I don't know if he loves me or he's just saying that or I don't know. like he knows I've liked him forever, and well he had a girl friend when I told him but yeahh I don't know.

I would be careful with those words and believing him at your age. He could possibly have a motive behind saying that and not really mean it.
The best thing to do is probably ask. he could just love you as a friend, maybe more, but I don't think it's real love.

"love you" is really casual. just between friends. "I love you" is usually more personal. like in a relationship situation.

I disagree.
Just because someone says "love you" doesn't mean they don't truly love you in a relationship. Sometimes I'll just say "love you" to my boyfriend, but he knows I do love him. It just makes no difference to me. The main word is 'love', depends on the person I guess though. I wouldn't stress over it.

is it cute? I love my dimples!! Answered by acal12 on Feb 07, 2008, 06:48AM

he can either mean he has love for you or he loves you the only thing you should stress over is when he says "I am IN love with you" but the question really is do you love him? thats what you should ask yourself before tellin him you love him
