If you are serious about losing weight then you have to be patient and give yourself time. If you get your goal too high then you'll be very disappointed. Set a realistic goal and then start, eating healthy and staying active are key to losing weight. Watch your calories and get a gym membership. If anyone else you know is wanting to lose weight then become weight loss buddies, it will encourage you more.

this questions been answered a million times. exercise, drink lots of water, cut out sugars and fats. stop drinking soda. don't eat or drink diet ANYTHING. stop eating several hours before bed. losing weight is slow, and is work. good luck with that.
