Does a lip piercing hurt? Can it get infected easily?

>> It depends on your pain tolerance, some say it hurts a lot others say it didn't hurt at all. I had mine done and it was less pain then I expected but the swelling part sucked. I ended up taking it out a few months later because it didn't suit me.

Can it get infected easily?
>> If its done professionally and you clean it the way you are supposed to, as often as your supposed to, then you'll be good to go. But theres always dangers, just like any other piercing.

well im getting snakebites this week but my brother has snakebites too and he said it does hurt but just for a couple of days then you get over it and his didnt get infected but you might be differ

I had my lip peirced and had it inn for about 5 months then I took it out for school.
and when they peirce it it isnt that bad.. almost like a shot on your lip but way faster.
but the sweling part suxx!!!
make sure you get a long bar so that when it swells it wont hurt.
and clean that sucker 24/7 even when its healed that way it wont get infected.

yeah really bad. and if it gets infected your lip could turn yellow permanently. thats what happened to mine and now I have no feeling in it.
