Killer mom

Ok I can tell that this'll be somewhat of a difficult question but bear with me, I'll be 18 in November, I live in Jamaica and my mom lives in Brooklyn NY, she's working on get us there but this is the problem, my mom is a no non sense woman I mean she literally does not play. Now you all now that I have a boyfriend and he and I have been going for some time now 2yrs 1wk and 2days to be exact but the prob is we're sexually active. It's a problem because my mom is going to literally kill me when she finds out, if she doesn't kill me she's gong to BEAT me into oblivion. I know that the very day I get off that plane she's going to take me to the Dr to check if I'm still a virgin of course I know that'll be a big NO, then she's going to murder me and she's already told me how to and believe me she will and she wouldn't mine going g to prison because as said by her she did the crime so she'll do the time. I'm scared out of my wits because I know what my mom is capable of and I know what she's going to do to me. My ques is, is there anyway that when she takes me to the doctor being that I think I would have already reached the age of 18, is there anyway that won't reveal my sexual status to her? As in like Dr patient confidentiality?? I just want her to be told yes she's still a virgin so I'll have a life afterwards. Please don't tell me my mom can't hit me because she's in the US because dats 1 woman who wouldn't give a damn if she spent the rest of her life in prison as long as she felt you had been 'disciplined' rite. So finally I will ask again, what can I do abt this predicament?? How can the Dr not reveal my real sexual status to my mom??

A girl's hymen can broke not only by sex. It can broke if she is cycling, swimming, exercises etc. Even if the girl is took a heavy weight (Picking up of A bucket of water too)can breake her hymen. So convey your mother this. You can tell the doctor to convey your mother too. No doctor can say your hymen broke only after sex. Be cool !!!

 
It depends on which state you go to. Most states give you the rights of adulthood (age of majority) at age 18 whereas there are a few where it is 19. According to my research on Google New York's age is 18.

Accordingly, you should be able to get the doctor to respect your privacy.

An alternative. If it's going to be a couple of months before your mother sees you, then consider sending her a letter in which you admit to your sexuality. This may give her a couple months to cool down, plus it may also help her to realize that you are a mature woman in your own right. You don't want her to 'discover' the facts later and realize that you have been lying to her for a long time.

I don't think she would really kill you so anything else is tolerable and may be beneficial in the long run.

ummm, visit the doctor before he checks you, and tell him not to tell your mom the truth, and he shouldn't!! I hope he doesn't!! then your mum will be proud!! lol

If you are so terrified of your mother, why do you want to live with her? Sounds like life in Jamaica is much better and you have a boyfriend you enjoy. At 18, start your own life and life where you wish and how you wish.

Sounds like a better alternative to me.

In new york at the age of 12 you have the right to go to a doctor without your mothers permission and see the doctor without her in there.all you have to do is when she takes you just tell her you don't want her in the room with you.the doctor can not tell her anything without your permission.

To skatemore, I really don't have a choice, my father and brother will be going as well, I would still have a lot of close relatives here but she would not allow me to stay, believe me I I could I would, I would visit when I felt like it, THANKS so far for the responses
