Is my friend anorexic?

Im worried abt my bff. she's 5'1'' and weighs 65 lbs. whenever anyone comments about her weight, she gets all defensive and mad. She sometimes even asks me whether I thnk she's fat or if her thighs are 2 big. she's alittle stick! her ribs poke out an...

everything. her mum is really into the whole "image" thing and is obsessed bout being thin 2. I really don't know waht 2 do because everytime I start talking about weight, she just walks away and ignores me. im really afraid 4 my friend. help!!!

There is definately something wrong with your friend.. she could be anorexic because 65 pounds is way TOO thin! No regular person at 5'1 ways 65 pounds.. you should try talking to her about it.. sitting her down and explaining how you feel.. and if that doesnt work you should really get her help! She'll thank in the long run.. her life is at risk!

If she's really 65lbs at that height, she's going to die very soon if she doesn't get help.

Sounds like child abuse, are you sure her mother is'nt doing this to her, 65'lbs her immune system will shut down, she will get sick and not be able to fight it, unfortunately cases like this takes a lot of therapy, and nutritionist to work with eating disorder kids, an this one is past due, she won't last long, I am appaled at her mother as she is apart of this also, if she just walks away from you than she is afraid to say what is the real truth behind all of this and you know it is the parent, I bet she don't go to Dr.s either, if she did she would be in the hospital, because that is where she belongs, someone better speak up befor its to late, this is so very sad.
