Ok my grandma from my mother's side died this month and we were very close. She was another mother to me.[R.I.P. MAMA]
But my grandma on my dad's side we arent close at all. I dont even call her grandma. I call her my fathers mother. Her husband died...

last yr [my grandpa] and nows she moved to ny from pr. My dad wants me to spend time with her but I dont want to. I dont even know her like that.
Am I wrong not to spend time with my grandma ?
p.s in the past she didn't claim me and doesn't like my mom. she ruined the marriage.

It's important to your Dad - you should do it for that reason alone - besides, she is family / won't always be around - be pleasant and spend some time...Take care !!

You should see her no matter what she is your family and she can't ruin your parents it's up to your parents to make the marriage work or not if we blamed our failed relationships on everyone else then we're only lying to ourselves, I think the right thing to do is to spend sometime not a lot if you don't want ot but some would be nice I am not close to my family I have in New York but I am going to go up there to see them and so they can see their new neice/granddaughter cause it's the right thing to do!!!
