They say there is always some truth in old wives tales. In this case there is. Larger feet typically belong to a bigger stature of man. So to compare a man who is 5 feet and slim build would normally have a small shoe size along with all body parts smaller. A man who is 6 feet and large stature would typically have larger body parts and a larger foot size. It is just a little common sense.
