Hm, you're in the US, and my wife wears size 6 jeans...I thought women's jeans sizes were 0, 2, 4, 6, etc?

Either way, if you're trying to lose weight, you need to focus on exercise & diet. Do a lot of cardio, eat veggies & fruits, whole grains, make sure you're eating the correct (not over OR under) calorie count for your age / weight & height, and make sure to exercise minimum 30 min per session 5+ days a week.

well the only problem is with excersise you cant chose places to lose weight, you might just lose your boobs instead, focus on being healthy, and tone ALL your muscles and youll be better off

You can most certainly target specific areas in which you wish to lose pounds...
But mainly for weight loss, you should try a lot of cardio is usually what I recommend... as well as crunches after each cardio session. Flex arm hang is good, keeps tension at your core, which will help define your mid section...
