Is it okay to flush used period pads ??

The One on the left is me Asked by the_fat_joint 2 months ago, 6 answers.

Is it okay toflush(toliet) used period pads ???
if not then...what are the other ways ??

not really unless you want to clog up the toilet but what you do is when you put a new pad on use the wrapper the new pad came in and wrapp the used pad up and put it in the trash they usually have trash bins specially made for these kind of things.

dont EVER do that, the toilet will just get cloged and a plumer will have to come in and take appart the pluming to get the pad out!
all you do is wrap the pad up in toilet paper and throw it in the garbage.

Advisor-small

no, you cant flush pads or tampons
they both can clog up the toliet and will put sea creatures lives at risk of dying as well
so dont do that!
you need to put them in a bin
you canb wrap them up in a bit of toilet paper and put them in a bin, or if you cant find one, wrap it up in toilet paper, and pop it in your bag and then put in in a bin once you find one
you could spray the tissue with a bit of perfume or deodorent to stop the smell

if you flush them down the toilet apparently they can end up in the sea or something?
