Its my feeling you have ta expext parents to snoop. They want to know your allright and they know you won't tell them everything. Especially if you leave your space open. Suggestion: don't do anything to be ashamed of. You will live a happier life if you don't have to hide things from anyone.. friends, parents, boyfriend.. anyone
I think we all know how overprotective parents can be, sometimes to the extent of suffocation, but you know what? It's for our own good. They want to make sure we're alright, that we're not involved in anything wrong, no matter how much they trust us, it's their duty as parents to guard us against harm and danger. Well, when you say u're dad's gone too far, do you really mean it? I mean, calm down, give the guy a break! He's only here to protect u, and that only shows how much he loves u. I'm not saying it is his write to snoop around and read your inbox, because it isnt alright and you know what? you should stand up to him. you should both sit down and have a proper dad to daughter talk and talk this through. However, you should be down right honest with your dad, and express your concern about him reading your email. Tell him that he has to respect your privacy and that he has to trust you enough, but bear in mind that his love for you drives him to do watever he's doing, although it cannot be justified. Still, you need to talk to him, CALMLY AND OPEN MINDEDLY. Hear him out! Glad I could help!
I don't even have to worry about this kind of thing. I don't even have to hide my pronography because my parents actually ask me to borrow it. The first time that they found it I had it hidden, but then they asked me to borrow it. I just laughed, then I realized that I wasn't going to get into trouble because they were serious.
