Is it okay for a guy to take care of the woman he loves?

I asked this question a couple days ago, but I was hoping to get more answers, because I only got 3 answers. So, I'm now asking again. :-) Here was how I posted my question:

I heard about this Fun site on the local news, so I decided to check it out...

for myself, because there is something I'd like to confess. And I'm confessing it here because I can't tell friends or family, because gender roles these days are not the same as they used to be.

I'm a straight, healthy guy in his early 30's ( although I look about 23 ), making almost 7 figures per year, and I've always wanted that one special, beautiful woman in my life that I can totally take care of. In addition to her being the special woman in my life and sharing a great life together with me, the "take care of" part means that she can depend on me absolutely for money, so that she doesn't have to worry about working. :-)

Don't get me wrong, it's not as if I'm a control freak who wants to have control over anything she does. I'm just saying that I've always loved the idea of being able to provide a nice, comfortable lifestyle for the special, beautiful woman in my life, so that she doesn't have to worry about the daily grind of work. Everything else about the relationship would be the same as it is in a successful, happy relationship.

Whether she is my wife or my live-in girlfriend ( either one is fine with me ), she would be able to wake up next to me each day and go about her day in any way that she likes, because she'll have the comfort of knowing that she doesn't have to worry about anything related to money, and she would be able to have what she wants when she wants it. ... Plus, in the event of anything unforseen happening, she would have an additional "emergency" amount from me in her account that she won't need to use, an amount that she could live on for several years if needed. That way, if anything happened to me ( if I were in an accident, or if she just wants to break up with me ), she would have that as a safety net. That would of course be seperate from the everyday money that she has access to.

Do successful relationships like this still exist, relationships in which a woman's man is doing well and he totally takes care of her, and the couple is in love just like any other happy couple? I hope they do still exist. I have to believe they do. I'm a healthy, energetic, passionate guy who just wants that one special, beautiful woman in his life who isn't too shy about being comfortably provided for, age 18-30.

So, I jusy wanted to get your views on this. I'm sure you can understand why I wouldn't be able to just talk to anyone I know about it.

Yes, I think it is very okay. The woman who gets you will be the lucky one. You sound like a very sweet & loving person. Wow! I wish you were in my life.

I agree with what your saying, I wouldn't mind taking care of a girl for the rest of her life but I would have to be positive that she was the one. You have a better chance of girls using you, just for the money. I don't make that much so if the girl is sticking around I know it aint for the money. You should devise a way to do the same thing. If a girl knows how much your making right off some would be inclined to abuse your kindness. A lot of women are like that. just don't choose one of those money grabbing chicks. Choose one that doesn't like you buting her expensive things, and after you trust her then you can
