Is it normal to straighten your hair daily?

straighten your hair EVERYDAY?? Do you?

I personally don't straighten my hair every day, mainly because I find it takes a lot of time I don't have. Also, I like to have a bit of variety, so some days I straighten, some days I curl, some days OI tease it, some days I just don't do anything.

As to whether it's normal, I'd say if you like it, go for it. Don't let anyone else's opinion get in the way of having a hairstyle you like every day.

Yes I use to because it was easier to maintain like that...but its incredibly bad for your hair not only does it end up permentaly straightening it (mine was naturally really curl now its wavy)...but its burns your hair as well as taking away all of its nutrients and vitamins, your hair ends up looking flatter, less vinbrant/glossy and isnt as healthy as it once was it breaks easily.

So maybe you should just use straightening serum, and leave the hair straightener alone for the moment.

I straighten mine every day but now my straightener is brokeded but I also heard that ceramic straighteners are easier on hair although I dont know if or why that is true

I have some friends who straighten their hair everyday... it's fine I guess... but sometimes it dose damage your hair!! so be sure to use conditioning... and you'll be fine!! or better off using one of thoes straighteners that lets out steam to moisten and not damage your hair =)

I don't straighten my hair everyday. I try to give it a break once and a while so it doesn't get too damaged. Just make sure you use condition and a heat protectant.

I think plenty of people do... but yeah just be careful, it tends to destroy the hair over time

I did for a while...but I dye my hair and use hairspray aswell, so I cant really straiten it all the time now or it'll all fall out!!which is already happening me!

its totally normal and yes I do ...just make sure you put product in your hair everyday

I do, and I know a lot of other's that do as well.

I always straighten my hair. but I've stopped atm as my hairdresser told me that it ruins your hair and makes it dry/burnt

I dont' as I really don't want to damage it.
But if you do try using some heat defence spray before straightnening and a conditioning mask every now and then.

I, for one do straighten my hair EVERY day! Though, I do not recomend it! It buns your hair up and makes it super fuzzy!!! Then you do have to straighten it!
