I think its...I dont even know. but I think its good your asking how and is it normal-most guys wouldnt..well all my friends that have problems with their dad dont want anything to do with the problem..

I dont think so. I mean I don't have that great of a relationship with my dad, but I can make eye contact. Only when it was kind of bad did that happen.

If things are bad, there are people who can help. If things are not bad then I guess you have to figure out whats going on. Sure there is a reason even if you don't realize it.

I cant make eye contact with my dad..but its because of stuff thats happened in the past (dont worry nobodys abused or anything like that but my familys been torn apart like 6 times!all thnx to STUPID dad...looong story)

It's nothing that you have done on purpose, but it might just have something to do with your communication skills. Most of the time you should always look someone in the eyes while talking to them. But it is a commom fear of not being able to look your dad in the eyes.

Maybe you need to spend some time together to build trust and etc. then you might gradually start to look him in the eye.
