Is it just me or are they all midgets?

I'm what most would call "emo" due to my preference of style. No I don't cut myself, and I love life, sure I've had many difficulties with accepting life is worth living, but to me all that matters is that I have a desire to be alive. Anyways, I'm 5'7...

and 14 years old. Yes tall, but I seem to think that maybe I'm the only tall emo girl hence my username. Is it just me, or most emo girls tiny? And if their are any 'emo" girls on the taller side here, please speak up, I'd really apprecitate knowing I'm not the only one.

It has nothing to do with being emo. Your body grew faster than your friends bodies. Your body doesn't say, "oh, I'm emo now, I better get tall." There are a lot of tall and short emo gals around here. There are also tall and short stoner chicks.

Hmm. I know an 'emo' that's 5'9. You're def not alone. But I have to say, no offense or anything but, just because people call you emo does not mean you are. You don't have to agree with what other people say of you.

yeah I know it's a genre of music, I know what emo stands for, in case you didn't notice the " ", as in meaning what I'm stereotyped as. and yes it is also a style, emo (emotive hardcore) was a genre of music developed from punk in the 1980's. Just recently did it become a trend in clothing as well, so f*ck off dude (sorry anger issues, I don't really mean it). To me emo is what you make of it. You either like the style, the music, or just a way of thinking. I thought emo was supposed to be about individuality, and personal decisions and honestlyI don't really care if you think I'm a poser or not, I respect your opinion.

No! Dude like does it really matter?? WHo cares if your tall?? Like emo is a type of belief and if your in it then you r!! IF your tall it doesn't matter!!! Plus, I know someone who's 12 and 5'6 and a halve!!
