Is it good to be different?

Do you think it is good to be different or do you think people do it for attention? I normally dress sterotypically in american eagle, hollister and abercrombie and fitch.I would like to expand my horizons into the more different clothes at delais and...

get a blue streak for my hair, but I am afraid people will talk about me because girls who are jealous of me will find anything they can to say something bad about me. Will I look liek a freak?

Some people may do it for attention - but most just like being themselves.
You wont look like a freak, wear what makes you comfortable and makes you feel good about yourself. It doesn't matter what others think of you - feeling food about yourself is the most important thing. Being unique is great - following stereotypes... is just outdated.

It's a great feeling to be a little different than the norm. Back in 6th grade, I wanted to be that stereotypical girl, but it just got sooo boring and I was hanging out with people who I found to be annoying and predictable. So, I started hanging out with another group of friends on the side and learned that they were a lot more fun than my old group of friends. Then, I started to create my own type of style. Kind of a more vintage, rocker kind of look... but not too much that I would turn heads in a negative way. Just express yourself more, if your friends start to tease you for it, then they weren't your friends in the first place. People who follow the rules of society never grow up to be great people. I'm not telling you that you should become some outcast, rebellious gothic-type person. I'm just saying you should follow your heart and be yourself.

it depends on the person some might do it for the attention but others might not some people might find it shocking your expanding your horizoins but who cares if they like it or not all that matters is if you like it and if your happy and if you are then I think it would be awesome to be different =) hope I helped
